Chimney Water Leaks

Transcript:

With the weather changes, one of the things you need to watch for is freeze cycles. Our chimneys absorb water because they’re porous. That water, when it gets cold, freezes and expands, and it can cause a hydraulic effect that breaks that masonry apart and can actually cause leaks in your chimney. So, that’s one of the things that we inspect for. Make sure you have us out to check your chimney. If you’re not having any leaks yet, you will eventually. So, give us a call.
